My daughter absolutely LOVES this doll! Since she has curly red hair just like my daughter, she was a big hit!
However, Miss Dottie's red hair sheds all over EVERYTHING. My beige carpet in my daughter'r room needs to be vaccumed constantly, and my daughter's tights and blankets need a lint brush roller after every nap.
Since my daughter is so fond of Miss Dottie, she is a permanent fixture in our house - we can't send her back. But, the mess is driving my husband and I crazy! The manufacturer should be advised about this problem so that they can correct it in the future.

My daughter received this doll as a gift and it has become part of the family. The toy that goes everywhere with us! I agree with a previous reviewer regarding the red yarn hair getting everywhere but we've made a game of picking up "dolly fuzz". My daughter does pull the yarn hair out and I've had to buy a replacement since the original is currently bald, but I haven't swapped them yet. Once I do I'll have to get another for fear of losing Dolly one day.

I bought this doll for my two-year-old daughter, and it's been her all-time favorite toy. She's four now, and we just bought a second one because the dog chewed the first one. Dottie(her name at our house is "Honey") is a modern version of an old-fashioned toy, and I love this in an age where many dolls look too mature for young girls.

I was very impressed when I recieved this doll. She is so cute and REALLY soft! It made a great christmas gift for my 1 year old neice. The only thing I wished it had come with was a box. It came in a clear plastic bag.
