I would say this toy chest is pretty easy to put together. My daughter feels like a princess, she absolutely loves it! Its more adorable in person than pictures. Overall its durable, the lid is great, and it will make any little girl feel like a real princess.

very easy to assemble. extremely high quality all around. the latch that keeps the child from smashing their fingers is priceless. it even comes with wood glue which is a rarity in items requiring assembly but a must have. my daughter loves to use it as a bench as well which is a part of the design. it is pricy but it is definitely a million times nicer than the other ones around. you really do get what you pay for. as far as volume on the inside, it wont blow you away. it will hold some stuff but its main purpose is a furniture piece first, a toy box second. buy this item and you will not be disappointed.

This box bench is really cute. It's safer for little fingers because of the hinge on the inside which prevents the lid from slamming shut. It was a little difficult for me to put together but only because I'm not that great mechanically. My girls love it!

I had the pleasure of ordering this extremely sturdy and beautifully decorated toy chest. When I received the chest, one of the parts was missing a screw hole. I contacted Levels of Discovery via email, because their office is closed on Saturday, and the CEO immediately responded and made sure my replacement part was ready to be shipped out first thing Monday. My daughter loves this chest. The bench is just her size. This chest will be around for years to come. I currently own the Levels of Discovery Princess Rocking Horse and will definitely purchase more products from Levels of Discovery in the future.

Bench lid holes were pre-drilled off center! Jan 04, 2012 By Sandy
I bought this for my 2-1/2 year old granddaughter and she loved it! It is beautiful however, the lid came with holes drilled off center therefore everytime you open and close the lid of toy box it rubs the arm rest of the bench which rubs the paint off! My son was able to make the contact less but he is going to request a new lid and arm rest. Secondly, the material of the bench seat and the heart is made of some awful flimsy material which they are going to replace, it feels like felt, awful to the touch in our opinion! The wood is of good quality as is the painting of the wood, just need to improve on drilling holes evenly so that it doesn't throw off the opening & closing of lid. This was an issue with other purchasers! Overall bench is of good quality!
