5Most effective burp cloth  Nov 10, 2009 By Angela Fisher "Angerz"
These burp cloths are 10" x 13" which is plenty big for my shoulder. I have purchased many different types of burp clothes and these are the best. I have a baby with GERD that spits up at least 10-15 times a day. The best part about these are that they don't leak through right away! The patterns are very distinct and easy to find in the laundry, diaper bag, or anywhere else. I would recommend sticking with one set as opposed to getting many different colors for this reason.

As some people called one side "rough"... it's terrycloth and that is what helps keep the spit up from just rolling down the cloth and onto your lap or shirt. It's not too rough at all. I highly recommend this.

2Cute, but not functional  Jun 24, 2011 By DayTriiipper
I really loved the design on these burp cloths, but what I like about them stops there. The fact is they are more like slightly oversized wash cloths... Maybe if they doubled the size it would suit my needs better?
Second, they are 'hang dry' or 'fluff dry' only. Certainly not practical for a mom with a new baby. I put mine in the dryer anyway and they shrunk... So now its size is closer to an actual washcloth.
I wouldn't recommend these. I've found that SwaddleDesigns Burp cloths might be a little more expensive, but definitely worth their money in absorbancy and size.

2Pretty, but not functional  Feb 28, 2009 By G Shea Stevens "gabbysheastevens"
These burp cloths are pretty -- but they are much smaller than most and they are only absorbent on one side. Because of the small surface area, we end up getting spit up on our clothes more often than with other burp cloths.

1Not worth the price  May 12, 2012 By hjtSD
We registered for these and I thought they'd be a cute alternative to using a cloth diaper as a burp cloth. We used them once or twice, laundered them, and now they sit in the drawer. They're wash cloths with a pretty piece of cloth stitched to one side. Not quite big enough if your baby is even half as wiggly as our little guy. They're not even that absorbent and the wash cloth is quite rough. The pretty material shrank up a bit, too, so now the cloth puckers on the sides because one side is smaller than the other.

If you're looking for burp cloths, your best bet by far is a cloth diaper- they're soft, absorbent, launder really well, and can take lots of abuse and still last forever. Gerber makes a 12 pack that doesn't cost too much more than a pack of four of these non-functional burp cloths.

5The best burp cloths!  Apr 02, 2012 By Benzhoney
I received several packs of burp cloths at my baby shower and these are by far the best. These cloths are a great size for normal burp/ spit-ups needs. I love the fabric backing on them too because it helps me keep track of them and adds an extra layer of protection when burping. I have since ordered three more packs of these cloths in different patterns.
